British Society for Matrix Biology Spring Meeting, 14-15 April 2025
The British Society for Matrix Biology (BSMB) holds 2 meetings each year at venues the length and breadth of the UK. These can be focused in a particular aspect of matrix biology or be more general.
The BSMB Spring Meeting will take place at University Park (University of Nottingham), from 14-15 April 2025.
This two-day meeting will explore how the matrix is implicated in tissue immunology, the immune response to infection and microbial responsiveness, advancing understanding of how the matrix affects host-pathogen interactions and outcomes in infectious diseases.
The conference will feature opportunities for networking, including lunch and coffee breaks, and poster sessions with a wine reception prior to a gala dinner on the Monday evening. Furthermore, this will be the first BSMB meeting to showcase an outreach activity, which will take place prior to the meeting at a local primary school and is entitled “Extracellular matrix: without it, we would be just a shapeless mass of cells”.
Registration and abstract submission for oral and poster presentations will open on 1 January 2025. Please keep an eye on the event website for updates, and to find more information about the event, including venue, accommodation, travel and meeting schedule.
