CBE Young Investigator Award: Call for Abstracts

Center for Biofilm Engineering are pleased to continue their programme to encourage the participation of outstanding non-Montana State University biofilm investigators, through their CBE Young Investigator Award, at their annual Montana Biofilm Science and Technology Meeting.

Targeting postdoctoral researchers and newly hired faculty, up to two investigators will be invited to present their research at their upcoming meeting from 9-11 July 2025 in Bozeman, Montana. Each investigator will receive a $1,000 travel reimbursement and a waived meeting registration.

This meeting serves as an excellent networking opportunity for early career investigators. The audience is a mix of engineers and scientists performing biofilm research in the lab as well as representatives from industry seeking innovative solutions to their biofilm challenges.

CBE Young Investigator Award

Awardees will be chosen by the Montana Biofilm Meeting Program Committee based on research quality and relevance of the material to the CBE’s mission, which is to advance fundamental interdisciplinary research and education related to the management of bacterial biofilms, and to transfer that knowledge to the realm of applied science and technology.

Abstracts

Please complete and submit the CBE abstract intake Google form by Tuesday 1 April 2025. If you are unable to access this form, please contact Kristen Griffin
