2nd Corrosion and Materials Degradation Web Conference, 5–7 Jul 2022
The 2nd Corrosion and Materials Degradation Web Conference (CMDWC 2022), organised by the MDPI open access journal Corrosion and Materials Degradation will take place virtually on 5–7 July 2022 and will allow attendees to actively engage in discussions about the latest findings in the field.
Scientists or engineers working on corrosion are encouraged to join this event and share their findings on the following general and related themes:
Session 1: Electrochemical Corrosion Mechanism at the Interface (Localized, Crevice, Advanced Characterization Techniques, EAC, Nanoscale)
Session 3: Computational Modelling, Design and Prediction of Corrosion
Session 4: Surface Treatments and Coatings for Corrosion Protection
Session 5: Corrosion in New Materials (HEA, CCA, TWIP/TRIP, AM, PM)
Session 6: Corrosion in the Energy Sector (Renewable and Nuclear)
Session 7: Corrosion in Biomedical Implants
Session 8: Atmospheric Corrosion
Session 9: Microbiologically-influenced Corrosion
Session 11: Corrosion Inhibition
During the three-day conference, numerous internationally renowned speakers will share their current state-of-the-art research, along with selected talks from the abstracts received. Each CMDWC 2022 session will include comprehensive and vibrant Q&A sessions.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee. All accepted abstracts will be available for registered participants in the form of a book of abstracts during the conference period. At the conference, authors will also have the option to produce short video presentations. The abstract submission deadline is 1 March 2022
