The Biofilm Research Seminar Series from the University of Edinburgh NBIC team focusses on the interdisciplinary science of aggregated microbial communities.
Join us from 11am-12pm on Thursday 29 February 2024, to hear from Professor Gordon Ramage, Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), about managing and manipulating complex biofilm infections.
Gordon’s research focuses on biofilm detection and control. In October 2023 Gordon joined GCU as a Professor of Infection Prevention and Control within ReaCH and as co-lead of the Safeguarding Health through Infection Prevention (SHIP) group.
The format for this series will be accessible for PhD students and is designed to stay broad enough that researchers from other disciplines interested in biofilms will be able to contribute to the discussion.
Refreshments will be available at 10:30am.
