IBBS Microbial Corrosion Webinar, 11 February 2026
Join the International Biodeterioration and Biodegradation Society (IBBS) on 11 February 2026 for the first in their series of webinars is on the important topic of microbial corrosion, specifically in the marine environment.
In this webinar, following a brief introduction to the general topic of microbially influenced corrosion (MIC), there will be short presentations from leading Australian experts on key issues related to MIC in a range of different industries including marine, oil and gas and concrete. This will be a great way to get a basic introduction to MIC for newcomers to the topic, while also providing some updates on latest research in the field.
This webinar will be hosted by Professor Scott Wade of Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.
