New position: Research Development Officer, Deadline: 7th November 2019

We have a new position available based at the University of Nottingham.

Applications are invited to the above role to provide comprehensive, high quality professional support to academic staff with respect to the logistics and activities mainly of the National Biofilms Innovation Centre (NBIC), but also the Wellcome Trust Doctoral Training Programme (WT-DTP), liaison with key stakeholders at the University of Nottingham as well as external academic/research partner institutions and industrial collaborators.

This admin post will require you to work closely with the rest of NBIC’s Operations Team across four lead Universities (Nottingham, Southampton, Edinburgh and Liverpool) and hence will be also reporting to the NBIC Operations Director. NBIC collaborates with a fast growing network of over 100 commercial partners from different sectors ranging from SMEs to large companies to exploit the UK’s global leadership in biofilms. The centre’s inclusive model means that other universities and companies conducting biofilm research can participate and benefit from partnership with the NBIC consortium.
