We are proud to sponsor EuroBiofilms 2026, which will take place in Guimarães, Portugal, from June 17-20 2026 at the Palácio Vila Flor.
This event will bring together a multidisciplinary community of researchers, academics, and clinicians from Europe and around the world to share the latest discoveries, exchange innovative ideas, and strengthen collective efforts to better understand and combat biofilm-related infections.
The scientific programme has been carefully designed to reflect the diversity and dynamism of the field, spanning fundamental microbiology, translational science, and clinical research. EuroBiofilms 2026 sessions will highlight the latest advances in biofilm characterisation, modulation, and prevention.
Active participation and diverse perspectives will play an important role in addressing the complex and evolving challenges posed by biofilms.
Hosted in Guimarães, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Portuguese nation, EuroBiofilms 2026 offers an inspiring setting for discussion and collaboration. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the city’s rich history while connecting with colleagues, building lasting collaborations, and generating new ideas for the future.
Members of the National Biofilms Innovation Centre team will be present at this event.
