MICROBiOME-NET Metagenomics and Genomics POP UP, 5 June 2026
MicrobesNG has joined forces with MICROBiOME-NET to host a one day, in-person Metagenomics and Genomics POP UP symposium on 5 June 2026 at Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Teaching and Learning Building.
Attendees are invited to contribute either a 15‑minute presentation or a poster, with prizes awarded for the best talk and best poster. There are also opportunities to chair sessions, offering valuable experience in leading scientific discussion.
Lunch and refreshments are provided free of charge, making this an excellent chance to network with colleagues, share ideas, and explore how sequencing data is driving new discoveries in microbial research.
The Metagenomics and Genomics POP UP will feature two keynote speakers:
- Dr Alexandre Almeida, University of Cambridge
- Professor Lindsay Hall, University of Birmingham
